This is the privacy policy for the Still Want It? mobile app, available on iOS. We have made it as short and honest as we know how. If anything here is unclear, write to us — we'll fix it.
Almost nothing.
The app does not require an account. You don't tell us your name, your email, your location, your age, your contacts, or your bank details. We don't know who you are.
One narrow exception: crash diagnostics, only if you opt in in Settings. These are anonymous device-level reports about what code crashed. They do not include your data — not your cooling list, not your "money not spent" total, not your email or device ID. We use them only to fix bugs.
That's it. There is no analytics SDK, no advertising network, no behavioral tracking, no fingerprinting, no profile-building, no retargeting.
On your device. Only.
Your cooling list, your decisions, your "money not spent" total, your reasons, your settings — every byte of it lives in local storage on your phone. We don't have a server with a copy. We don't have a database. There is nothing on our end to leak, sell, or be subpoenaed.
If you delete the app, your data is gone. If you tap "Delete everything" in Settings, your data is gone. No copy. No recovery.
Not in this version of the app. If we ever add it, it will be:
You will be told before anything leaves your device.
This app is rated 4+ on the App Store. It contains no objectionable content. It is not directed at children specifically, but it is safe for them to use. We do not knowingly collect data from children because we do not collect data from anyone.
If you are under 13 (US) or under the digital consent age in your country, please use this app with a parent or guardian's awareness.
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, California, Brazil, India, Vietnam, or anywhere else with similar privacy laws, you have rights including:
| Right | What it means here |
|---|---|
| Right to know | Ask us what data we have about you. We have nothing. |
| Right to access | Get a copy of that data. There is nothing to copy. |
| Right to deletion | Delete your data. Use "Delete everything" in Settings, or uninstall the app. |
| Right to portability | Export your data. Use "Export your data" in Settings — it produces a CSV of everything stored on your phone. |
| Right to object to processing | Stop us from processing your data. We don't process anything. |
| Right to non-discrimination | Not be punished for exercising these rights. Confirmed. |
If you contact us asking us to fulfill these rights, we'll respond within 30 days. Our response will almost always be: "There is nothing on our end."
The only third parties involved are:
None of these parties receive the content of your cooling list, your prices, your reasons, or your decisions.
We do not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Segment, AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch, or any similar SDK. We do not sell, rent, or share data with any other company because we do not have data to sell.
Because data stays on your device, no international transfer of personal data occurs. The app is designed and operated such that this section is, in practice, not applicable.
Your data is protected by the standard sandbox of your device's operating system (iOS). We do not have additional encryption beyond the OS-level protections, because we do not have a server, database, or backup.
If your device is lost, stolen, or compromised, anyone who can unlock the phone can see your cooling list. We recommend a device passcode and biometric lock.
If we change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and post the new version at this URL. If the change is material — meaning we start doing something we previously said we don't — we'll show a one-time in-app notice the next time you open the app.
We won't bury changes. We won't change "we collect nothing" to "we collect everything" via a quiet edit.
